This was such a simple dinner to make and satisfying for both myself and my fiancé. Plus, I got him to eat veggies and he now has a fondness for radishes. We love fresh garlic so it’s pretty much used every day at home. It is used in both the pork chops and the veggies but if you don’t like it, feel free to omit.
Pork Chops just need a little sea salt and fresh ground black pepper on both sides. Add oil in a skillet, sauté garlic on medium heat for a minute and add your pork chops. Cook for 7 minutes on one side, flip and do the same to the other side.
While your chops are cooking, prep your veggies. Wash and cut them to your preferences. Sauté garlic in oil then add vegetables. When the vegetables are cooked to your preferred tenderness, add chili pepper flakes and sea salt. When cooking, you must taste as you go along… so taste test and adjust seasoning.
Pierogies should just be boiled based on package specifications. We like the potatoe and cheese ones but you can find them with other fillings. After your pork chops are done, let them rest in plates while you lightly sear the pierogies in the pork juices.
Depending on how you prep and cook, this dinner should only take 20-30 minutes. It was a delicious meal and that’s why I had to share it with you. Enjoy!
